Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter this year. We began celebrating on Friday afternoon with an Easter egg hunt at Nu Skin. Addi woke up from her nap about 10 minutes before we were supposed to be there. It usually takes her awhile to really wake up, but she didn't have that chance so she wasn't too happy for the hunt. She wanted to open the first egg that she picked up, but it was taped shut. She was frustrated that it wouldn't open, and Dave and I were trying to get her to pick up other eggs. All of the sudden she threw the egg on the ground and collapsed next to it screaming. She ended up with about 5 eggs!

On Saturday we headed to my parents. My mom's birthday was on Friday so all of the kids surprised her on Saturday afternoon to spend the weekend. We ate lots of yummy food, decorated Easter eggs, played games and just hung out. Of course Addi was spoiled with an Easter basket from grandma and grandpa.

I am not one of those cute pregnant girls, and I absolutely hate pictures of me right now, but I was just about to post this and figured that for Addi's sake I'd post a picture that showed I was involved in her second Easter!

Addison LOVES Anna's bumbo chair, she sits in it every chance she gets!

When we got home last night it was round two for the Easter bunny and we were able to search for our baskets. Addi's favorite present was her little tent, once it was up we couldn't get her out of it and even let her sleep in it last night!

I love holidays, and Easter is no exception. I'm thankful that we were able to spend it together as a family and that we were also able to attend church and gather together after church to share our feelings on the Atonement, it was great to really remember why we celebrate Easter in the first place.
