...BOY!!! We don't have a name yet, but he arrived at 7:50am this morning. We are excited that he gets to share a birthday with my grandpa Bonham, which is why we picked this day. After three days of labor with Addie and then a c-section this delivery was much quicker. The doctor started cutting at 7:37, I guess that I really did get all of my labor over with when Addie was born! He weighs 9lbs 5oz and is 21 inches long, another plus to a c-section I didn't have to push him out. My mom had really big babies and Addie was 8lbs 11oz, so I knew that he would be big, but with him being a few days early I was a little shocked at how big he is. We are so excited that he is here and he's been such a great baby all day long. I'm so thankful that everything went smoothly and he is healthy, he is beautiful too! Hopefully we'll have a name soon, let us know if you have any suggestions.
I've been worried about how Addie would react to a new baby. She has been so sweet with him. Maybe it is because he brought her a present! She was a little timid at first, but now she wants to hold and kiss him. She loves his ears and toes and keeps pointing them out!
We've loved all of the visitors today, it is so fun to show him off and hear name suggestions!
