Christmas in April

For Christmas this year we bought Addie a little play kitchen, but because we haven't been in a house yet we left it in the box. Well, we were finally able to set it up! Addie knew about it, and knew that once we moved into a house she would get it, so for the last couple days she has been begging for her kitchen. Being the mean parents that we are, we didn't set it up until her room was painted and ready to be moved into. We set it up while she was sleeping and so the next morning she got to go and check out her new room and kitchen!

As I've mentioned before Addie loves to visit the temple. Because of this it became grandpa Cutler and Addie's little tradition to visit the Draper temple each time we went to my parents house. For Christmas my dad gave Addie the sweetest gift. He spent a few mornings at the temple trying to get the perfect picture and then he framed it for her to hang in her new room. I was so glad that my parents were visiting when it was finally time to hang her picture. Besides asking for her kitchen, Addie had gone to her closet several times and pulled out the picture wanting to know when she could hang it on her wall. We let Addie and grandpa do the honors together!
