2 Weeks

It's hard to believe that Isaac is already 2 weeks old. He has gained 3 oz and is up to 7lbs 14oz, 10% for weight and 25 % for height (still @ 19.5 inches).He has been the perfect baby...hardly ever cries, eats really well and only wakes up once at night. Addie and Cole love their little brother. Addie has been quite the little mother, wants to hold him all of the time, burp him, change his diapers and today even asked me if she could nurse him! Cole has taken a different approach...periodically throughout the day I'll find him coming over to give Isaac a kiss or tell him "hi" and then he is back to playing with his toys. Today he did dump some water on his head, but other than that he has been pretty gentle with his new little brother. Now with multiple boy blankets, clothes, etc around Cole constantly brings me things and says, "Isaac?" if I say yes he quickly takes it over to his brother and lays it by him...pretty cute :) I think that we are adjusting pretty well to having a new member of the family. My mom left Friday, so we've been on our own for a few days! We've done pretty well, but I have to admit I miss having my mom around! I love the spirit that a new baby brings to our home and am so thankful that we're all healthy and doing well.
Addie asks every night if she can sleep with Isaac! While I won't let them share a bed, I do let Addie hold him for awhile every night before she goes to bed. This is what I usually find...
We also had some fun visitors last week. My aunt Karen and her boys came to visit one night. And Dave's dad and nephew, Christian, came for the week to help Dave out at the store and with deliveries.
