Surprise!

Our newest addition decided to arrive 3 1/2 weeks early! After 3 weeks of contractions and drs and nurses telling us that we wouldn't make it to my due date we weren't completely caught off guard but I was really hoping to make it past 37 weeks. This little guy had another plan!
Now that I know we're all healthy I'm extremely grateful to not be pregnant anymore!
We started off Monday morning at my weekly doctors appointment, where after hearing that I had been having painful contractions and throwing up, the doctor sent us to the hospital. After 6 hours of monitoring, contractions every 3 minutes, not being able to get them to stop & already having 2 previous c sections the doctors decided that I'd be having a baby that night. After a long day, he was born at 9:32pm at a healthy 7 lbs 11 oz and 19.5 inches long. Because he was 3 days shy of being 37 weeks they decided to keep him in the nursery to monitor his breathing, luckily no trips to the NICU. I was able to see him for about a minute before they sent him, along with Dave, to the nursery. Finally around 3am they brought him to me & I could finally just sit and stare at my baby! After a good nights sleep last night and a shower I'm finally starting to feel like myself again!
We've loved the visitors, are so thankful to Mike & Liz for letting Addie and Cole sleep over Monday night, for my parents, who jumped in their car Monday night and arrived at our house at 6am Tuesday morning to be with Addie and Cole the rest of the week and for everyone else that has offered to help out! Thank you, thank you!!

After 2 bags of fluid...I thought my hands were swollen before I came in! Dave all suited up ready for the OR. Finally here! Proud Dad Meeting their new brother. Not the best pic, but Cole tried to walk off with his little brother! Addie & Cole received presents from their new little brother. Visitors Addie has been dying to feed her brother a bottle for several months now. She was thrilled to be given the task today! Already sleeping like his dad, sister & brother!
