My cousin, Alyse, got married and we were able to travel to UT for the wedding. Dave had to stay behind and work :( which meant that I got to fly with 2 kids by myself. I think I prefer a 9 hour road trip with Dave and the kids over flying by myself!
I was able to do the flowers for Alyse's wedding. I haven't done any since we moved, I forgot how much I enjoy it. The wedding was beautiful and it was so fun to spend the day with family. At the end of the day I asked Addie what her favorite part was, thinking she'd say something about the reception or Alyse's dress, I was wrong! Her favorite part was the temple...until the sparklers came out as we said goodbye to Chance & Alyse.

We also had the chance to go to Justin & Jake's basketball game and soccer game. Caitlyn was nice enough to teach Addie about Justin Bieber and Addie affectionately cheered "go Justin Bieber, go Justin Bieber!" at each of the games...pretty sure her uncle Justin isn't too thrilled about being called that, but his reactions just encouraged Addie even more! Anna started out on my lap and before I knew it she had moved herself right onto Addie's. Those two are quite the little pair :)

Addie and Brielle had a sleep over and I made them each a bouquet with left over flowers. They LOVED their bouquets and Addie threw the biggest fit when I wouldn't let her take it on the plane with us.
The next morning we headed down to Grant & Kristene's. Kristene had picked up these cute little cupcake kits. Addie & Brielle were thrilled to make & decorate their own cupcakes, and Cole even got in on the action.

We also got to meet Beckham, Doug & Tricia's baby, for the first time. We love new cousins and Addie keeps talking about how small and cute he is!
And uncle Russ willing let Cole give him a back massage! Cole loved this thing as much as he did at Christmas. The look on Cole's face describes his mood pretty accurately that day, we'll just say that I was happy when he went to sleep for the night.
One of my very favorite things of the whole weekend was the great snow storm. There is nothing better than waking up to a beautiful white world! I soaked in all the cold and snow I could before we had to head back to sunny AZ!
Cole is my Arizona boy. He loved helping grandpa shovel the driveway, but he hated being outside without a coat and while we waited for pictures at the temple he stayed snuggled right into grandpa and got upset if his hood or blanket came off!

That IS the best part, Addie! What a wise and sweet little girl. That warmed my heart.
Could you send some of those sunshine rays up to me?? If I could I'd throw a snow ball your way in return!
